Up April08 Road Trip » Navajo Bridge Slideshow

The Navajo Bridge over the Colorado River's Marble Canyon, in a very isolated location upstream from the Grand Canyon, is one of only seven land crossings of the Colorado for 750 miles. The original bridge was opened to traffic in 1929. A new, wider bridge was opened in 1995. For details, see this National Park Service page
